Hey guys! Today we have a new recipe for you. In this post however it is not about food but about the perfect non-alcoholic drink for the current summer days. The cherry mint ice tea is super easy to make and does not need many ingredients. The taste tough is the perfect combination of fresh mint, fruity cherries and a little bitter note from the black tea. As it is quite concentrated you can use it as a base for cocktails, but it is also perfect in its pure form with a couple of ice cubes. Enjoy the recipe…

Zutaten // Ingredients

750ml Wasser // 750ml water

1 Hand voll frischer Minze // a handful fresh pepper mint

2 Teebeutel English Breakfast Tee // 2 tea bags English Breakfast

250g frische Sauerkirschen // 250g fresh sour cherries

5 EL Honig  // 5 tbls honey

Saft von 2 Zitronen  // juice of two lemons

1. Prepare the English Breakfast teas as usual and add the half of the fresh peppermint. Allow to infuse for around 10 minutes and add honey and half of the lemon juice. Let it cool down for at least 2 hours in the fridge.

2. Blend the cherries and add to the cooled tea. Also add the rest of the peppermint leafs and some more lemon juices. If you like it sweeter don’t hesitate to add more honey. Enjoy 🙂

Oh das sieht köstlich aus! 🙂
