Hallo ihr Lieben! Seid ihr gut in die Woche gekommen? Das schöne Wetter macht es einem auf jeden Fall einfacher morgens in den Tag zu starten (sagt euch jemand, der aktuell gar nicht früh aufstehen muss…). So wie es aussieht, geht für mich aber im Mai der Ernst des Lebens los und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das frühlingshafte Wetter mir den Einstieg erleichtert – mehr dazu ein anderes Mal đ Passend zum Frühlingseinbruch habe ich heute einen farbenfrohen Sommerlook von meiner Kubareise für euch im Gepäck.
Während ich noch ein bisschen Zeit brauche, um meine Reisebeiträge vorzubereiten, möchte ich heute einen Look mit euch teilen, den ich an einem unserer letzten Tage in Havana trug. Wie ihr wisst, trage ich sowieso schon gerne kräftige Farben – die bunten Hausfassaden, Türen und natürlich Oldtimer von Havana Vieja haben meine Farbliebe jedoch auf Hochtouren gebracht und mich zu diesem Colourblocking-Look inspiriert. Das Latzkleid habe ich mir noch vor meiner Reise bei New Look ausgesucht. Es ist super schlicht geschnitten, aber passt durch Farbe und Material sowohl zu sommerlichen Looks als auch zu Pullover und Stiefeln. Dazu habe ich ein süßes Shirt in leuchtendem Orange mit Rüschenärmeln kombiniert. Da der Farbkontrast schon sehr auffällig ist, habe ich meine Vintagetasche und die weißen Sneakers mit Bastsohle kombiniert. Die Kombination aus Tasche und Sneakers waren eine perfekte Basis für meine bunten Kubalooks. Mehr von diesen bekommt ihr bald in einem Outfit-Diary zu sehen. Hey guys! Did you have a good start into this new week? The spring weather definitely makes it easier to gt up in the morning (tells you someone who does not has to get up early these days). However in May a new chapter of my life begins and the sunny spring weather will definitely make the transition easier for me – I will tell you more about that change soon. Anyway, today I have a new summer look for you that we shot in beautiful Havana.
As you know I just returned from a three week trip to Cuba. While I need some more time to preprare my travel posts, today I want to share a first look with you that we shot on one of our last days in oldtown Havana. You know that I love to dress myself in bright colours and to see the colourful walls, doors and oldtimers in Cuba made me want to add even more colours to my looks and inspired me to create this little colourblocking style in orange and burgundy. I chose the red pinafore dress before we left from New Look and it was perfect to wear (with boots and a sweater) for cold Paris but also style in a summer look for Cuba – I just love when a piece is versatile! I paired it with a plain orange tee that has a little ruffle sleeve detail going on. As the colour contrast is quite striking already I added a bast vintage bag and white sneakers, also wit a bast detail. These two were my go to accessoires on the trip as they are super summery but still neutral enough to combine them with every kind of colour and look.
