Styling Dotted Print Shorts

 

Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe, ihr hattet eine schöne Woche 🙂 Ich bin aktuell im Allgäu auf einer Sommerschule – meiner ersten Summer School als Doktorandin – und genieße die Zeit bisher sehr! Nichtsdestotrotz möchte ich heute mal wieder einen Look mit euch teilen. Auch wenn die Temperaturen teils unerträglich sind, macht es definitiv Spaß Sommerlooks für das Wetter zu stylen…

Der heutige Look habe ich am vergangenen Wochenende geshootet und er soll als kleine Inspiration für einen eleganten Partylook im Sommer dienen. Die Shorts habe ich kürzlich bei Stradivarius in Madrid ergattert und wie ihr euch vielleicht denken könnt, liebe ich den hohen Bund mit Gürtelschnalle. Ich finde diese Art von Paperbag Taillen nämlich nicht nur sehr stylish, sondern auch vorteilhaft. Aufgrund des flattrigen Schnitts und der nicht zu gewagten Länge ist die Shorts sehr vielseitig kombinierbar – eine Eigenschaft die ich an Kleidungsstücken wahnsinnig schätze. Eigentlich wollte ich sie zuerst mit einer roten Crop-Bluse kombineren, da ich die Kombination von Pünktchen und Rot mit ihrem Flamenco-Vibe sehr süß finde. Ich habe mich dann aber doch für die eher elegante Version mit einer schwarzen Schluppenbluse entschieden. Um noch ein bisschen Farbe ins Spiel zu bringen, habe ich dazu Accessoires in rot kombiniert. Wie gefällt euch der Look? Habt eins schönes Wochenende!

Today’s look should serve you as an inspiration for an elegant yet playful partylook for summer. I got these shorts recently when I was in Madrid at Stradivarius. I fell in love with them due to their high waist, cute belt and flowy shape. I think you can wear it in a lot of different combinations and really appreciate it as versatile summer staple. I originally wanted to pair it with a red crop top for todays look to give the outfit a Flamenco-Inspired vibe. However I ultimately decided to go for a more classic combination with this black silky blouse. To add a bit of colour I went for all-burgundy bag, shoes and accessoiry.
